If you are interested in joining our group or advertising on the lochnesswelcome.co.uk web site we are able to provide various advertising opportunities.
Membership of the South Loch Ness Tourist group is available to any business in the Highlands and costs £50 P/A you will have your own page situated in the appropriate section fully updatable by yourself as well as the opportunity to advertise special offers and news items on the homepage.
Outlined below are some advertising options, please contact the webmaster for more details.
- Business Listing
If you are a member of the SLNTG you are entitled to a listing on the web site. You are also entitled to display other "Members Only" special offers which appear on the home page..
- Front Page Banner Advert
These adverts are placed at the bottom of the front page and the advert is displayed on a rotation. No more than five banners rotate on the page on any given date and all adverts get an equal amount of exposure. The front page will be most visitor's gateway to our web site. This will give your advert good exposure and putting it at the bottom of the page goes some way to avoiding " banner blindness".
- Side bar Adverts
These are displayed in the left navigation bar and the adverts are shown on all public pages. The adverts rotate in a continuous loop while the visitor is on the page. No more than five adverts will appear together.
- Section Skyscraper Adverts
Viewed on section index pages (Self catering, Bed & Breakfast etc.) these ads allow you to target specific types of visitor. If you run a specific type of business that will relate to the person visiting a specific section it makes sense to advertise here. No more than three banners rotate on the page on any given date and all adverts get an equal amount of exposure.
Rates are very competitive and represent great value for money. We can use existing artwork or create a banner for you, the cost for us to make a banner is £30. If you would like to create the adverts yourself or have a graphic designer create them for you we have provided the technical specification below.
