We are situated on the shores of Loch Ness in the little village of Dores. Inverness is approximately 8 miles away, where there is a wide range of shops and supermarkets. (Note: there isn’t a shop in Dores).This is an upstairs apartment of our own house, with spectacular views across Loch Ness and the hills beyond.

Facilities:The apartment sleeps 5 - 6 persons, one double room en-suite and one family room en-suite. The flat is centrally heated and fully equipped with digital TV/ DVD/ Video also CD/Radio, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker and fridge/freezer. We also have a baby cot and high-chair. It has a large open plan area with patio doors and a small balcony with wonderful views across the loch.Canoes and bicycles are available for exploring the myriad local tracks and miles of water. There are wonderful walks and a beach close by. A short drive away (10 miles) are the Foyers Falls.The Dores Inn is a 3 minute walk, serving lovely food and drinks. Our little local post office is opposite.

This is a good base for day trips around the Highlands.The accommodation comes with linen, towels and a welcome pack.

Weekend breaks and B&B can also be arranged.
