Ballindarroch House offers quality Bed and Breakfast just a short distance from Dores, a small village situated at the northern tip of Loch Ness.
This fine Victorian house was originally built as a shooting lodge around 1850, & stands in 10 acres of woodland gardens above the Caledonian Canal. The river Ness passes through woods below the garden on its way from Loch Ness into the Moray Firth and provides some very beautiful walks in tranquil surroundings. The house with its hand painted wallpaper, is comfortably furnished.
Ballindarroch is a relaxing & peaceful B&B with large bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms. only 5 mins' from Inverness and Loch Ness. Our grounds are full of local wildlife including red squirrels with pheasants and deer. A generous breakfast is served each morning either full Scottish or Continental. There is a seperate TV room and large drawing room with log fire and doors leading on to the lawn. A warm welcome is assured to all our guests new and old.
