“The Beinn Dhearg Guesthouse” is set in the heart of the Highlands just 100 yards from Loch
We are set in a small village, not far from the shores of the loch, the DORES INN serving the best of highland hospitality along with first class highland food, sample some of the finest of Scottish malt whiskies.
The area will cater for all from, walking, sailing, horse riding, fishing, bird watching; you can arrange to visit some of our local Whisky Distilleries in the area. We also have information on all of the above if you wish, please ask.
The name "Beinn Dhearg" means Red Mountain in this area there are the most breath taking mountain views, to the south a short distance away if Fort Augustus Abbey surrounded in history, to the north is Armadale Castle and Gardens on the Isle of Skye.
You can relax in the spacious lounge (coal fire on winter evenings) freshen up in your own en-suite bathroom some of our rooms have Loch Ness view’s please ask when booking.
Have Tea/Coffee with original Scottish Shortbread, all rooms have colour T.V. and Wi-Fi access.
After a relaxing nights sleep have a Full Scottish Breakfast, early breakfast can be arranged.
