Aspenwood is a luxury modern self catering holiday cottage with stunning panoramic views overlooking Loch Ness and the fabulous mountain range of The Great Glen opposite.
FACILITIES
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar has three large windows all looking onto Loch Ness and down towards Urquhart Castle. Top of the range Miele, Neff & Panasonic equipment is installed - ceramic hob with extractor fan, built in electric fan oven, microwave and Miele integral dishwasher - all to make life easier on your holiday. Wall mounted flat screen 19" TV in the dining area.In order to keep noise to a minimun inside the cottage there is a separate utility/laundry room outside the cottage which houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and boiler. It also offers the facility of drying clothes in wet weather and storage space.
Three bedrooms - sleeping 5 comfortably. Master bedroom with king bed and en suite facilities with double shower. Enjoy the luxury of a 37" flat screen plasma digital TV with HDD unit/ DVD player Wander out of the sliding door leading onto the private decking and absorb the panoramic views.Twin bedded room & one single room with 19" flat screen digital TV's plus your own hair dryer and linen basket. Good wardrobe space plus large chest of drawers and bedside tables in all rooms.

The spacious lounge has a nine foot picture window with commanding panoramic views of the loch and the mountains opposite. It is furnished with relaxation in mind and has the latest 37" flat screen plasma digital TV with HDD unit /DVD along with an extensive catalogued library of films. The CD player has a wide variety of music along with a selection of games, books and local literature. There is a desktop computer for guests to use free of charge.Also WiFi connection for those who wish to bring their own laptops.A door from the lounge leads onto the private decking where you can sit and bask in the tranquility whilst gazing over Loch Ness - a perfect place to enjoy a "wee dram" at the end of a magical day.
All rooms are tastefully decorated with a selection of colourful prints to make you really feel relaxed and at home.

It is situated midway down the southern shore of Loch Ness - 16 miles from Inverness {capital city of the Highlands} and Fort Augustus making it the perfect location for day trips to the east and west coasts of the Scottish Highlands. Enjoy days out to The Isle of Skye, Kyle of Lochalsh, Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness,Ullapool, Plockton, Glen Affric, John O'Groats, Aviemore, Ben Nevis range to name but a few of the many visits.
If you don't wish to get in the car there are many wonderful walks from your doorstep - whether it is strolling along quiet forest tracks in the surrounding Farigaig Forest or sauntering down to the lochside beach nearby. We now welcome two well behaved dogs.
