Located within walking distance and in sight of Loch Ness this recently refurbished former meal mill offers an ideal base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands either as an active participant or simply to relax in the wonderful scenery.
Only 8 miles (13km) from the highland capital city of Inverness, which is well served by road, rail and air links, there are numerous local attractions including castles and distilleries, and activities including walking and mountain biking to sample.
Situated on the outskirts of the loch-side village of Dores, Allt a'Mhuilinn ('mill by the stream') is an attractive and sympathetically converted former meal mill.
This is an "upside down' house to better appreciate the views of Loch Ness from a well-apportioned open plan living-room/diner/kitchen.
The house has electric heating (included in price) which is complemented by a solid fuel stove (coal and logs supplied) in the lounge area.
