At Loch Ness 2000 you weigh the evidence of legend, psychology and the environment. The exhibition includes a number of important scientific findings but remains user friendly and jargon free. "We want to broaden people's experience of this type of environment," says Adrian. "It is not just a monster exhibition. It tells people about Loch Ness and also about Scotland and the ecology of a Scottish loch. While the scientific discoveries are themselves fascinating, they also act as evidence in the legend. Visitors to Loch Ness 2000 are invited to weigh up the research results, the many eye witness accounts and the facts and figures on the sheer size of the loch - including the amazing fact that it holds more fresh water than the whole of England and Wales put together - and make up their own minds on the matter".

Loch Ness 2000 uses special effects and laser, original archive footage, textures, illusions and original expedition equipment. Written by Loch Ness expert and leader of the Loch Ness Project Adrian Shine.
Adrian Shine has been involved in the Loch Ness Investigation for 30 years and is one of the few researchers to have direct experience of working on the waters of Loch Ness and of experiencing the depths by submarine and by underwater camera and extensive use of sonar. During that time he has researched and written various papers on the history and biology of Loch Ness.
Loch Ness is a fascinating and beautiful place.
